40 YEARS OF HISTORY Our industrial development has been marked by four main phases.
The story starts in 1965 in a small workshop at Marnaz. Now, four decades later, Bontaz is a world leader in automotive hydraulic functions.
1990-2000
International expansion
This decade was marked by significant growth and also saw the group set up sites outside France to accompany its main customers.
1995: first site opened in the Czech Republic
1999: new site at São Paulo, Brazil
2000: new site at Shanghai, China.
